Florence

The vibrant heart of the dreamy Tuscan region, Florence is one of Italy’s greatest gems. Whether you are here for Renaissance architecture, a romantic escape, or to dig into legendary foodie delights or fashion, this place is going to steal your heart. And to celebrate Florence's iconic fashion houses—Cavalli, Gucci, and Pucci—all known for their animal prints, our limited edition Florence bags, showcase a black tiger motif, capturing their signature styles. Of course we took our tote bags and team to Florence and we did some Florence research for you. In our opinion, these are the spots to go to for a slice of local life.

Coffee

Cappuccino & pastry @ Gilli

Skip breakfast, act like a local and start your day at the bar of Gilli's. Order a cappuccino and one (or 2, 3) of the most delicious pastries ever tasted, and eat and drink this while standing at the bar. Preferably you wear your sunglasses. Like all Italians do and wear fashionably your Florence medium tote bag on your shoulder!

Shopping

Gerard Firenze

Florence is a heaven for fashion lovers. All the big brands are in the heart of the city. But if you're looking for a local hero, a not so well known Italian shop and brand, go to GERARD. They have exclusive one of a kind pieces and especially their sweatshirts are amazing! And don't forget your large Florence tote bag, for all the items you will shop in Florence!

Best pictures

Where to take the best pictures?

Of course a picture of the famous Ponte Vecchio can not be missed. But, as in many tourist places, you will not be the only one there. So make sure you're an early bird or be there for sunset. To walk over the Ponte Vecchio bridge itself is beautiful, but to take photos we found it better to walk further up the river and use this viewpoint over the bridge.

Aperol Spritz

Drinks in style @ Hotel Savoy

After a full day of shopping, culture and great food, we all deserve a nice glass of Aperol Spritz. The best terrace to do this is the terrace of the Savoy on Piazza della Replublica. It might be the most expensive drink you will drink in Florence, BUT: you have the best view on all these fashionable Italian people! It's really worth it!
